Aloysian Alumni Association
The age-old Old Boys Association of St. Aloysius' Anglo-Indian High School, Visakhapatnam (Estd. 1847) was rejuvenated and re-christened as the Aloysian Alumni Association while the school celebrated its 175 years jubilee (Dodransbicentennial) in November 2022.
It has been conducting a plethora of activities for the benefit of Aloysians, Teachers, Alumni and the school. The association is a bee-hive of activity as a perennial stream of events are being conducted while collaborating with the school seamlessly.

1. ALUMNI NETWORKING : Keep nurturing and proliferating a vibrant Aloysian alumni network while constantly aggregating a repository of alumni related information and data. This will assist the alumni in reconnecting or getting together with any of the Aloysian fraternity and will promote progression of various individual or mutual interests of the alumni in matters of career, business, family etc. and will help obtain alumni assistance in diverse circumstances.
2. RESOURCE MOBILISATION & CHANNELISATION : Mobilise and channelise the qualitative and material resources offered by/available with the alumni for betterment and support of the school and for assisting Aloysian students, alumni as well as the teachers and staff - past and present.
3. CONDUCT OF ALUMNI EVENTS : Regularly conduct alumni events, including periodic meetings, get-togethers, alumni re-unions, resource gathering initiatives etc.
4. PEDAGOGICAL FACILITATION : Synergise with the school - purely as a facilitative alumni element - in implementation of best practices in the school's pursuit of excellence for efficacious and well rounded education and grooming of the young Aloysians.
5. GUIDANCE, SUPPORT & ENCOURAGEMENT TO STUDENTS : Assist Aloysians by hand-holding, mentoring, guidance and counselling. This also includes scholarships and awards to meritorious and promising students and also mobilisation of material and/or financial support for needy students.
6. CONDUCT OF TRAINING EVENTS / ACTIVITIES : Conduct training capsules, workshops, competitions, sports events, skill training capsules, school club activities, treks, tours/visits etc. for the Aloysians and also faculty enrichment programmes, social activities and the like for the teachers with active alumni involvement.
7. PUBLICATIONS : Bring out publications aimed at enhancing the educational richness of the school and fostering value-based learning and the school spirit amongst Aloysians young and old.
8. OBTAINING EXTRINSIC SUPPORT & RESOURCES : Utilise inherent alumni capabilities and resources to liaise/interact with various authorities, organisations, bodies/entities, resource persons, NGOs, corporates and other sources of support - local, outstation and abroad - to tackle emergent requirements of the school as well as to obtain material and qualitative benefit/assistance for the school, individual students, alumni, teachers and staff - past and present.
9. SOCIAL SERVICE : Serve the society at large by implementing social work initiatives with the aims of contributing for the greater good / common cause and gaining a sense of fulfilment while enriching the age-old reputation of our beloved school as a paragon of excellence in unconditional service to society.

Bye Laws
“Aloysian Alumni Association”, is a non- commercial, non-profit, non-political organization, with the aim of bringing together the alumni of St Aloysius' Anglo Indian High School.
The aims and objects for which the society is established are as under:
a) To bring together the past students and pass outs of St Aloysius' Anglo Indian High School under one forum, so as to promote fellowship, networking, exchange of experiences, dissemination of knowledge and talents among the members.
b) To arrange and conduct meetings of the alumni.
c) To encourage educational, cultural, fundraising, sports and such other activities as Governing Body may deem fit in furtherance in the objectives of the Aloysian Alumni Association.
d) To conduct seminars, conferences, workshops, endowment lectures and other academic activities
e) To keep in touch with one another, the school teachers, non-teaching staff and the students of St Aloysius' Anglo Indian High School.
f) To bring out magazines, souvenirs and newsletters highlighting the activities of St Aloysius' Anglo Indian High School alumni and also for the furtherance of fellowship, advancement of knowledge in general of the members of the association and the students of St Aloysius' Anglo Indian High School.
g) To organize and promote a fund for the use and benefit of the school and also to the Association.
h) To create and establish alumni endowments for granting scholarships, prizes and medals to the students of St Aloysius' Anglo Indian High School, showing high proficiency in their studies and honor former students of the school.
i) To establish and maintain a database of the alumni of St Aloysius' Anglo Indian High School and use it for such legitimate purposes it may deem fit.
j) To establish contacts and affiliations with organizations with similar vision and aims in India and abroad.
k) To financially support students of the school from Economically Weaker Sections for pursuing their education.
l) To facilitate the school in improving its infrastructure by eliciting and coordinating the financial contributions of the Alumni.
m) To assist the school in skilling the students in various ways including imparting soft skill training to them.
n) Provide mentorship to the students and hand-hold them while settling in their chosen professions.
o) The Aloysian Alumni Association will ensure that all actions that it takes are in consonance with the policies of the school and its rules. It will not pursue any course of action that is detrimental to or has the potential to cause harm to the age-old reputation of the school, the values that it upholds and its abiding interests.
p) The Association will invariably seek the advice of the school’s authorities and will be duty-bound to keep them constantly well-informed about its activities.
q) The Association will collaborate with the school in terms of training the current generation of students in varied skills like proficiency in Spoken English, debating, conducting Science Fairs, games and sports, theatrics and musical skills etc. and will facilitate counselling and coaching of the students for such purposes.
r) The Association will take due care as to never thrust upon the school with any one-sided plans and activities that are neither in the interests of the school nor have the specific approval of the School Management.
To carry out such other activities as may be necessary for furthering the above aims and objectives.
